Dinner is on the Table

The last 2 weeks have been amazing!  Crockpot cooking has allowed me to do many things.
I come home from work and dinner is practically already on the table.  I have to make a couple quick side dishes and then we are ready to eat.  Clean up is a breeze.  I'm out of the kitchen so fast it's almost like I don't know what to do with myself.  Crockpot cooking has helped me eat healthier because it's a balanced meal vs. scrounging around for something and not feeling satisfied.
This process has allowed me to work out more because I'm not stressed about dinner.  Less clean up time equals more time for me.  I exercised 4 days last week for 1 hour each time and it felt great.
Due to the extra time I've also been able to spend more time cleaning other parts of the house which makes for an easier weekend that doesn't involve all the cleaning and laundry.

Chicken Hawaiian Style

  • 4 large boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • ½ cup white sugar
  • ½ cup vinegar
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 Tablespoons soy sauce
  • ½ cup of pineapple juice (use what’s in the can)
  • ½ can of large pineapple chunks

Add all the ingredients to the freezer bag. Cook 4-5 hours on high or 6-7 hours on low. Serve it over rice and enjoy. While cooking the rice, shred the chicken and put it back in the juice before serving.
